Turn Table

The turn table includes an electronic scale for weighing a completely manufactured railcar, and a printer for labeling weight receipts. 60ft. Span turntable, includes 3” barstock rails at std. rail gage, with a full circle deck of heavy duty bar grating, adequate for supporting a loaded 5000 LB. forklift.  Travel provided by two wheel motors with a variable speed joystick control for visual alignment with floor rails. An operator’s console located near one end of the rails and contains all the table and scale controls and the printer. A single post pedestal located at the opposite end of the table for rail alignment at the opposite end.  The table rotates 360 degrees in either direction.

Drives: (2) Direct drive, 480v, 3 phase, 60 hertz electric hollow bore gear motors, with heavy duty disc brake, table speed 72 fpm, infinitely variable with Magnetek brand VFD motor control.
Controls: Features a joystick control at control pedestals for table movement, which takes advantage of the VFD motor control providing easy, smooth variable speed throughout the full range. Main control panel with disconnect included. Push-buttons for mainline scale totalizator and electrical enclosure.
